Clematis

Available in 8” pots in Charmaine, Edda, Giselle Guernsey Flute, Lindsay, Poseidon varieties

A very rounded shaped, deep rich red flower, 10-12cm across, with contrasting yellow anthers. Flowers freely from May through to July, with reliable repeat flowering into September. The blooms also hold the colour very well with little or no fading. With its compact habit and height of 90-120cm, Elpis would make a wonderful addition to a patio, in a container, or in the mid to front of a flower border, where it’s longevity of successive flowers can be fully appreciated.

The modern clematis in the Raymond Evison range flower readily and will yield good results using relatively simple pruning techniques. In late winter/early Spring simply   reduce all stems down to 6″ (15cm) of soil level.
